Maximum Door Clearance for Your Arlo Essential Doorbell!
Is your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell mounted on trim recessed behind brick? Need maximum clearance from a tight door swing or storm door? This **Full Offset Brick Extension Mount** is the solution!
It extends your Arlo doorbell forward past the brick (select required length) and uses our unique **Full Offset** design to shift the doorbell entirely sideways over the brick face, maximizing space. Installs easily on narrow trim (>= 9/16" wide) without drilling into masonry.
How it Works: Full Offset (Maximum Sideways Shift)
This mount utilizes our unique FULL OFFSET geometry. Your Arlo Essential Doorbell attaches so its door-facing edge aligns flush with the side edge of the narrow 9/16" mount base. This provides the maximum possible horizontal shift over adjacent brick compared to our Standard Offset mounts.
This is the best choice when maximum clearance from a door swing or storm door is critical. The offset is reversible for left or right side mounting.
This mount positions the doorbell over or in front of the brick face.

CRITICAL: Measure & Select Your Extension Length!
Choose the correct length to clear your brickwork or storm door. Measure carefully:
- Measure the exact distance straight out from the surface where the mount base will attach (your trim) to the outermost face of your brick or obstacle.
- Order THIS measurement as your required Extension Length. (Do NOT subtract doorbell thickness for offset mounts).

How to Install Your Full Offset Extension for Arlo Essential
This mount uses two main printed pieces: the Extension Base and the Doorbell Adapter Bracket.

Tools & Prep: Gather: Drill, PH1 & PH2 Philips Bits, Level, Anchors (if needed), your Arlo doorbell wall plate & hardware.
Turn OFF power at the breaker if hardwiring! Ensure battery is charged if wire-free.

Mount Extension Base: Position the Extension Base (correct length/offset) on trim over wires (ensure Full Offset provides max clearance). Attach securely using appropriate screws (#6 size likely, use PH2) and anchors into the 2.5" spaced holes.
Ensure base is level. Don't overtighten.

Attach Doorbell Adapter Bracket: Route wires through the Doorbell Adapter Bracket (top piece for Arlo). Align onto Extension Base. Attach using the four small center screws provided (likely #4 screws / PH1 driver).
Use correct PH1 bit. Tighten until flush. Check for/clear debris if needed. Do NOT over-torque.

Attach Arlo Wall Plate: Secure the **wall plate or wedge that came WITH your Arlo Essential Doorbell** onto the Doorbell Adapter Bracket using the small screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (typically #4 / PH1). Ensure correct orientation.
Do NOT use Arlo's long wall screws here. Use correct PH1 driver.
- Wire & Mount Arlo Essential: Connect wires (if applicable) to the Arlo wall plate following Arlo instructions. Click the Arlo Doorbell unit firmly onto its wall plate until secure.
- Final Check & Power On: Ensure doorbell is secure. Turn power back on (if applicable) and test.
Follow safety rules & Arlo guidelines. Use correct anchors/screws. Correct screwdriver size prevents stripping.
