Add-On Baseplate for Adjustable Swivel Mounts
This is an **ADD-ON** baseplate designed to work with our standard Adjustable Swivel Mounts.
Purpose: Allows installation on narrow trim (minimum 3/4 inch wide) AND adds exactly 1-1/2 inches of forward extension that is only 3/4in Wide.
Swivel Mount is NOT included - Purchase this adapter only if you have or are buying a compatible Swivel Mount separately.
Solution for 3/4" Trim & Adding 1-7/8" Total Depth!
Is your mounting surface only 3/4" wide? Need to extend your swivel mount forward significantly? This adapter baseplate solves both problems!
It features a slim 3/4-inch wall footprint for secure mounting on narrow surfaces (>=3/4"). It also provides a fixed 1-1/2 inch forward extension, plus a 3/8" transition section, adding a substantial **total depth of 1-7/8 inches** to your swivel mount setup. The plate widens at the top to seamlessly connect to our standard swivel mount bases.
Adapter Plate Dimensions (3/4" Wide Base + 1-1/2" Extension)
- Wall Contact Width: 3/4 inches (Requires trim/surface width of >= 3/4").
- Forward Extension (Narrow Part): 1-1/2 inches.
- Transition Section Depth: Adds an additional 3/8 inch depth.
- Total Depth Added by THIS Adapter: 1-7/8 inches (1-1/2" + 3/8").
- Width at Swivel Mount Interface: Widens to approx. 1.8 inches to match standard swivel base.
- Mounting Hole Spacing: 2-5/8 inches (center-to-center, standard - customizable on request).
Resulting Doorbell Position (Approximate)
When this 1-7/8" deep adapter plate is combined with one of our standard Adjustable Swivel Mounts, the final position of your doorbell will be approximately:
- Back of Doorbell Body: ~4-3/8 inches (4.375") away from the wall/trim surface.
- Front Face of Doorbell: ~5-3/8 inches (5.375") away from the wall/trim surface (assuming ~1" doorbell thickness).
(Estimates depend on the specific swivel mount and doorbell model.)

How to Install (Adapter + Swivel Mount)
This adapter plate fits between your wall/trim and the main base of your swivel mount.

Tools & Prep: Gather Swivel Mount parts, this adapter, drill, PH2 screwdriver/bit, anchors (if needed), level.
Turn OFF power to doorbell wiring at the breaker!
- Align & Route Wires: Route wires first through this 3/4" Wide Adapter Baseplate, then through the standard Swivel Mount Base. Align the mounting holes (Adapter Baseplate against the wall, Swivel Base on top).

Mount Combined Base: Position the combined bases on your >= 3/4" trim/wall. Secure *both* pieces together to the wall using the #6 x 1-1/2" screws (provided with the main Swivel Mount) through the aligned 2-5/8" holes. Use appropriate anchors if needed.
Ensure alignment is correct. Use PH2 driver. Drill carefully, do not overtighten.
- Continue Swivel Mount Install: Proceed with the standard installation steps for your swivel mount (attach swivel bracket to base, set angle, wire doorbell, attach doorbell using mount-provided screws, finalize angle) as detailed in the main swivel mount instructions.
Always follow safety rules & doorbell wiring guidelines. Use appropriate anchors. The correct screwdriver size prevents stripping.
