This listing is for one **ADD-ON Bottom Filler Spacer Plate**, designed to work with our Brick Extension Mounts.
- Purpose: Fills the vertical gap often found **below** the Brick Extension base when mounted on angled trim or where trim doesn't extend down to meet lower brick/siding. It provides a cleaner cosmetic appearance and can add support to the base, potentially allowing it to sit closer to the brick edge.
- Custom Width: You measure the width of the gap below your base and select the required **Filler Width** from the options.
- Requires Measurement: Accurate width measurement is crucial for a good fit (See Measurement Guide below).
- Brick Extension Mount NOT included. This spacer is an accessory for a mount purchased separately or previously.
- Features an internal passage for routing wires through the bottom.

CRITICAL: How to Measure for Filler Plate WIDTH
To ensure the filler plate fits correctly in the gap below your Brick Extension base, please measure the **horizontal width** of that gap:
- Determine the final mounting position of your Brick Extension base on the trim.
- Identify the vertical gap directly *underneath* where the base will sit.
- Measure the **WIDTH** of this gap from side-to-side (e.g., from the brick edge horizontally across to the door trim edge, or the full width needed to fill below the base).
- Order the measurement that corresponds to the **WIDTH** of the gap you need to fill as the **Filler Width**.

How to Install the Bottom Filler Spacer Plate
This spacer plate is installed underneath the main Brick Extension base.

Tools & Prep: Gather Brick Extension parts, this Filler Plate, drill, PH2 driver/bit, level, appropriate wall screws & anchors (LONGER screws may be needed depending on added thickness).
Turn OFF power at the breaker if wiring!
- Position Filler Plate: Place the **Bottom Filler Spacer Plate** on the wall/trim in the gap directly below where the main Brick Extension base will be mounted. Route wires through the filler plate's passage.

Position Main Base & Secure: Place the **Brick Extension Base** on top of the trim, directly above the filler plate (it may sit slightly proud due to the filler's thickness). Align the base's mounting holes with your wall holes/anchors. Secure the main base to the wall/trim using appropriate screws (longer screws might be needed to account for the ~3/16" filler thickness).
Ensure the main base is level and securely fastened. The filler plate is typically held in place by pressure and alignment with the base, but outdoor adhesive/silicone can be added for extra security if desired.
- Continue Brick Extension Install: Proceed with attaching the Top Doorbell Bracket and Doorbell to the main base as per the Brick Extension instructions.
Ensure main Brick Extension base is securely mounted. You may need slightly longer wall screws (#6 size, not included) to accommodate the filler plate's thickness. Consider using outdoor adhesive/sealant between filler plate and wall/base for weatherproofing and extra hold.
